For the Trillium BMW Club to be a positive experience for all members it is incumbent upon all members, with regard to their fellow members, Club officials and employees, their chapters and the National organization, to conduct themselves in a courteous and ethical manner.Following are the standards of conduct to which members of the BMW CCA, including the Trillium BMW Club, are expected to adhere while online and in person:

BMW CCA Members Standards of Conduct

The mission of the BMW CCA is to enhance the BMW experience for our members by providing services, support, information and activities that promote camaraderie and encourage social awareness and responsibility.

The BMW CCA is an organization that welcomes everyone, whatever his or her age, background or car model. With a large membership, it is appropriate to establish basic standards of conduct that govern our interactions with each other.

Therefore, the following Standards of Conduct have been established. Changes shall require a majority vote of the Board of Directors. Simply put treat others with the respect and consideration with which you would like to be treated.

All members will treat each other with common courtesy.Personal confrontation, conflict and verbal, visual or physical abuse will not be tolerated. Personal criticism or defamation of one individual by another will not be tolerated.

Personal responsibilities include:

• Complying with all Club policies, rules, bylaws and minimum standards.
• Maintaining appropriate behaviour.
• Not assisting others who are attempting to knowingly violate any policy, rule, bylaw or minimum standard, or are attempting to commit an unethical act.
• Abiding by the rules of competition when participating in a competitive event.

You may cancel up to two weeks prior to an event. You are then entitled to a refund or transfer to another event in the same year.

The Chief Instructors reserve the right to refuse participation of any vehicle which they deem unfit for the track, regardless of whether a tech form has been obtained from a licensed mechanic. In this instance, no refund or transfer to another event will be provided, if the vehicle is found to be unfit less than 15 days prior to the event, or at the event.

Any refunds for multi-packs will be refunded at the price of the multi pack purchased minus the price of the next one down (e.g. purchase a 4-pack, cancel one event with more than 2 weeks notice, refund is the price of "4-pack" minus "3-pack").

Effective January 27, 2021, BMW Canada will continue to offer a Membership Reward Rebate Programme for BMW Car Club of America/Trillium Chapter members based on Canadian eligibility criteria, with graduated rebate values similar to the U.S. programme. The Terms and Conditions, and rebate allowances are as follows:

Terms and Conditions:

• Trillium Chapter applicants must be members in good standing with the Trillium Chapter for a minimum of 12 months at time of purchase (to be vetted and confirmed by the President of the Trillium chapter, and approved by the Executive Director of BMW Car Club of America).
• The new BMW vehicle must be purchased at an authorized BMW retailer in Ontario, Canada.
• The rebate applies to cash purchase, lease and finance transactions. Sales documents and vehicle title must be in eligible member’s name.
• New, non-registered vehicles, in excess of 1,000 kilometers, including company vehicles, retail demonstrators or loaner vehicles and third-party brokers, do not qualify.
• Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are not eligible.
• The rebate program is only available during the purchase process. After-the-fact discounts are not available.
• The approved rebate is valid for a period of six (6) months from the date issue.Eligible applicants must retain ownership of the vehicle for a minimum of six (6) months after delivery.
• This programme is available at the discretion of BMW Canada which reserves the right to change Terms and Conditions at any time.

Eligible New Passenger Cars (Model Years 2022, 2023, 2024)

• $500 - 2 Series and 4 Series (all models), M3, M340
• $500 - Z4 (all models)
• $1000 - 5 Series (all models)
• $1,500 - 7 Series and 8 Series (all models) including Alpina
• $1,500 - i8 Coupé and Roadster

Ineligible - X1, X2, 330i, X3 30i, i3, i4, iX, PHEV variants (330e, 530e, 745LE, X330e, X545e)

Eligible New Sports Activity Vehicles (MY ’22, MY ’23,  and MY’24)

• $500 - X4 all models, X3 M40, X3 M
• $1,000 - X5, X6 all models
• $1,500 - X7 (including Alpina)
